Reasons to attend.
Since the inception of GCSE mathematics over a decade ago, there have been concerns over the suitability of the course as a preparation for mathematical courses beyond school - especially at GCE 'A' level. This course examines the potential, or perceived conflict between 'passing' GCSE and the GCSE as part of the continuum in a student's mathematical education. The course is suitable for teachers of students taking mathematics courses beyond GCSE in colleges.
