Reasons to attend.
The Common Inspection Framework (Ofsted/ALI) became effective on 1 April 2001 in order to meet the requirements of the Learning and Skills Act 2000. The Act extended Ofsted's remit to include the inspection of all 16-19 education in FE and sixth form colleges. The Adult Learning Inspectorate (ALI) inspects all post-16 work based training and adult education. This course is designed to raise awareness of the main focus of inspection and offer advice and guidance to staff at all levels on approaches that can be adopted prior to and during inspection, especially those who are managing the process within their college.
