Reasons to attend. The student population in colleges is becoming more diverse as the government ‘s widening participation agenda rolls out. All staff in colleges wish to ensure that their student respond to teaching and learning, but are sometimes unsure how to deal with students who come from culturally different backgrounds. This course is aimed at tutors and course co-ordinators who may be responsible for curriculum management, delivery or supporting learning within a diverse environment.
