Pilot Citizenship schemes are already being tested and by August 2003 Citizenship is set to become a key life skill, taking its place alongside other skills for the 16 - 19 age group. How will your college face the challenge of enabling students to think of themselves as "active citizens who are willing, able and equipped to have an influence in public life"? This course introduces the concepts and aims of Citizenship and enables participants to establish an action plan for their workplace.
