Reasons to attend.
Although key skills form an integral part of many vocational and work based programmes, many students coming to college now, especially at the age of 14, will not be on full NVQ or other vocational qualifications. It is these students who may need particular support to develop their basic and key skills in order to improve their confidence for learning and their motivation. This is a highly practical course for any member of staff who may need to consider how to develop and integrate key skills into a work related programme.
